queer writer, advocate, & Antifacist

“Lock up your libraries if you like; but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of my mind.” -Virgina Woolf

I took the photograph on the left while on a trip to Bodega Bay, California. The seed pods in this picture, with their hard and broken shells, remind me of human resilience: hearty and firm as they are tested by the cool air and high winds on the beach.

queer writers have long been pushed to the margins of society. our predecessors were brave and resiliant, if not a bit worn. Thank you Baldwin, woolf, and so many others.
